What is TARITECH?
TARITECH is a WiFi hotspot billing and management platform. It combines captive portals, voucher sales, mobile-money payments, and router management into one dashboard for hotspot operators, hotels, cafés, campuses, and ISPs.
Which routers and access points are supported?
MikroTik routers (RouterOS) and TP-Link Omada access points managed through an Omada controller. Authentication is handled by FreeRADIUS, and the captive portal is hosted by TARITECH — nothing to install on your own server.
How do customers pay for WiFi access?
Customers buy vouchers from your agents or pay directly on the captive portal using mobile money and other supported payment methods. Sessions activate automatically after payment.
Is device licensing the same as a subscription?
No. The platform subscription covers the TARITECH software for your business. Device licensing is a separate per-device monthly licence for each MikroTik router (TSh 10,000/month) and Omada access point (TSh 5,000/month). A third, usage-based service charge — TSh 20 per 24 hours of voucher time — applies to each authenticated sale. All three appear on one monthly invoice.
Do I need technical staff to set it up?
No. Router enrollment is a guided, non-technical process: add the router in the dashboard, copy the generated command, and paste it into the MikroTik terminal. The router connects to TARITECH and configures itself.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — new accounts include a 21-day free trial with no credit card required. You can add routers, create vouchers, and take real payments during the trial.
